A collection of three freelance websites built for local travel and car-rental businesses in Varanasi. Each project was designed around the individual client's requirements while maintaining a focus on performance, responsiveness, SEO, and a simple UI/UX.

TECHNOLOGY

PROBLEM

Local travel and car-rental businesses need websites that are easy for customers to understand and use, while also being discoverable through search engines. The challenge was to build responsive, SEO-friendly websites with a custom UI/UX without making the booking experience unnecessarily complicated.

WHAT I BUILT

I designed and developed three complete websites for local travel and car-rental businesses. The UI/UX was created around each client's requirements, with reusable components helping speed up development while still allowing each website to have its own identity.

The websites were built to be fully responsive, with clear service information and direct WhatsApp-based booking flows. This allowed customers to contact the businesses directly without introducing unnecessary complexity into the booking process.

CHALLENGES

• • Dealing with production crashes and debugging issues after deployment.
• • Configuring GoDaddy DNS correctly with Vercel and getting the domains connected to production.
• • Initially troubleshooting Google Search Console when the sitemap failed to fetch.
• • Balancing animations and visual elements with the client's requirement for a fast, loading-free experience.
• • Building reusable components while still keeping each client's website visually different.

ARCHITECTURE & SEO

The websites were built using Next.js with an SEO-friendly route architecture and reusable React components. Tailwind CSS was used for styling and GSAP was used for animations and interactions.

For deployment, the domains were connected through GoDaddy and hosted on Vercel. I configured DNS records, metadata, sitemap.xml, robots.txt, Open Graph metadata, and other required script tags before submitting the sites to Google Search Console.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT

The projects also included an admin panel that could be used to manage vehicle information. However, one client preferred a completely loading-free experience, so the dynamic car-management functionality was disabled for production. The currently displayed vehicle information is therefore served from static data and can be updated as the client's requirements change.
